Level identifies the academic level of a curricular offering.

In Courses

• Undergraduate: Courses numbered 499 and below.
• Graduate — Courses numbered 500 and above.

In Programs

• Undergraduate: A program leading to an undergraduate degree or credential, such as a bachelor’s degree, undergraduate certificate, or minor.
• Graduate: A program designed for students who have completed a bachelor’s degree and are pursuing graduate or post-baccalaureate study, including master’s degrees, doctoral degrees, graduate certificates, and other post-baccalaureate credentials.

In Specializations

Dual

In addition to undergraduate and graduate, proposers may select Dual for programs that provide an accelerated pathway connecting a bachelor's and master's degree, including ABM and 4+1 specializations.

• ABM (Accelerated Bachelor to Master's): A pathway that allows students to double-count eligible courses toward both the bachelor's and master's degrees, reducing the time required to complete the master's degree
  • Kuali: ABM programs are inherited from the master's degree.
• 4+1: A pathway that allows students to complete both a bachelor's and master's degree in five years. Unlike an ABM, a 4+1 does not include double-counted courses.
  • Kuali: 4+1s are inherited from the bachelors degree.
